Serena Pfister received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of the Pacific in Stockton. Upon completion of her physical therapy degree, she began working at Stanford University Medical Center as an inpatient physical therapist. She recently moved to the Santa Barbara area, and has worked in both inpatient and outpatient facilities. She has currently been with Hayashida & Associates since 2005.

In her pursuit to developing her clinical skills, Serena has recently completed two separate year-long courses based on the practice of manual physical therapy. In 2006, she became 1 of 4 therapists at Hayashida & Associates who have earned certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Serena is delighted to be working with a group of highly experienced and dedicated therapists.
