Erica Camardella joined Hayashida & Associates in October 2011. She is a Santa Barbara native and graduated summa cum laude with a degree in anthropology from the University of Arizona in 2006. She obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2011 from the University of Washington. She will begin a year-long manual therapy course in January 2012 to continue to progress her physical therapy career.

Erica’s interest in physical therapy began as a patient, the result of being an athlete involved in a variety of sports throughout her life. Her interest in sports and academics led her to combine them into her current professional interest. Her treatment philosophy is to form a partnership with a patient in which communication is an integral part of the diagnosis and treatment to provide optimal patient care for orthopedic and neural issues. Erica attempts to combine an analytic but holistic approach to treating both the person and the medical condition.
